The project develops capacity of selected non-governmental and governmental institutions in the implementation of the Rule of Law and in influencing policy makers on related issues. The Working Group influenced the creation of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights, the ASEAN Commission on Women and Children; and the ASEAN Committee for Migrant Workers. The project funded two publications regarding human trafficking laws and alignment of domestic legislation with international protocols.
