The initiative emphasizes school improvement, increasing primary school enrolment, improving the quality of primary education, as well as improving the governance and management capacities of community and education officials at all levels. CIDA works closely with the Ministry of Education and the donor community involved in the education sector to support annual work objectives based on agreed-upon education strategies and activities. This project promotes primary education for boys and girls and gender equality.
